Visual Poetry: You travel an insouciant step--by Jose' Antonio Orellana ...

21.1.11

2011 January. February.

1.
At the beach—
Time ran out its pace
Mad rush to meet with you there,
Watery sand now
2.
Aura—
More poet than hawk
A yearn sinews this shadow
On your trailing scent
3.
Drifting in time—
This breeze carries
Firefly brightly glowing
Heart’s clutching capture
4.
Reconciled—
By the quiet light
Solitude forms in my palm,
Remnants of our squeeze
 5.
Then—
Twirling about late
Finally twisting at once
Settles this murmur
6.
sometime---
between then and now
change I wish on its tempo
Porter's "Night and day"
7.
Changes in the sky,
Thundering eagle wings flap
Let loose quiet despair
8.
Gaze light—
Irresistible
Search for sun intrepidly
Reclining softly

9.
Champagne goblet eyes
Bubble along ruddy sea
Your elbows on me
10.
Things—
You say softly
Through spring’s unfolding wings
Splayed expectancy
In a breath of gaze
Simply captured subtly
Blooms a garden, you
11.
You smile as you read me
Line after line
Sentence beyond sentence
Follow words that lead you
Down the trail of my sentiment
And whilst you stroke
Each bit of me in breaths,
You hold captive, my persuasion
And I say yes,
All of this is worth it
For the simplest smile of you
Makes me most gratified
Touching a lazy
Summer’s pursy evening,
Sultry and sheer
Wonder of heat transparent
Blushing awake and
I think, how lovely dawn will come

From behind---

From behind

There’s something about
Rising, falling curvatures
Undulating hair,
Exposed and obvious
There’s nothing hidden or casqued,
Simplicity streams
Beads of sleep glisten
Bounding behind swift-like breath:
Scent of the fresh rest.
I bury my face
There in the forest of those
Reposing tresses
Where my entrancing
Stokes the stove of warm skin
Thrilled by our stirring

One night---

One night

A witch came to me
O’er rippling moonlit ringlets
Lay her fragrant heart

Just be---

Just be—

Infatuation
Arrives fluttering about
Luminosity.

Its burning startling
Conceives obsessive disguise,
Mind’s disquieting.

Then, puerile breathing
Comes consuming puppy love
Like ripening fruit.

At last staggering
A sobering light astounds
Evanesced clarity.

Love is leftovers
Reheated from what’s been of
Yesterday’s banquet.

Then at dawn one day
You are awakened renewed,
Everything is clear,

Even traffic noise
Usually discordantly
Carries kindly tunes,

Winter feels spring-like
Slowly drinks in the sunlight
Soaks with bated breath

And until the soul
Inevitably accepts,
Does calm come again

In iridescence
Makes the heart rise from ashes,
Drifts to love again
