Doings of Lovers Haiku (121-171) Night

Victoria Selbach

121.
So close---
Late hours drawing near
Full moon shines a smile o'er me,
Fiery heartbeats

122.
For me---
Amethyst sunset
Like wine pours out mauve heaven,
Mouthing and trembling

123.
After the meal---
Walk by countryside
Dusk draping elusive-like
Your lingering taste

124.
Evening at hand---
Ivory crinoline
While arm in arm promenade,
Boulevard of love

125.
Before---
Light invokes darkness
Lazy streetlights yawn awake
Loverly en-laced

126.
Old way home I go
Street lights stirring dusk awake,
Anxious for my love

127.
Drive---
Same drive home unwinds
Night o'er highway grows shadows
I yearn my warm bed

128.
Cycling endlessly
Day and night sojourn as one,
Thoughts return so soon

129.
Breathing in and out
Night drawing out languidly,
Looses start and end

130.
Dusky lit blue sky
Silvery shafts piercing through
Shiny layers raw

131.
In the chill of night
wanders the flesh ceaselessly
this soul's sewing thread

132.
There is a---
Lonely stream starring
Down moon rays falling apart
Ways only you have

133.
Calm---
In the waning light,
You trickle limpidity,
My blood stains you white

134.
Goodnight heart---
Driving into dusk
Dim lights wind over old roads,
Kiss me at each turn

135.
Remember when—
The sky was chiffon
And the moon shone through
Our rippling hearts?

136.
Odinne—
Dearest darling in
The stealth of silent shading
Tenderly you come

137.
By my prow---
Sailing through tempests
On tranquil seas adornment,
Stars part for you

138.
Two trees---
Branches entwine now
Moonlit shaft pierces crevice
Dawn spreads her dewing

139.
Leaves gleam silver---
Between purrs and meows
Velvet of night inhales sleep,
Your breath on my chest

140.
Thaw---
Peeling from your breasts
O’er the cool night sheering through
The doubting moonlight

141.
Mirroring the sky—
Puddles round rose
Stems glisten amid moss stars
Night at the garden

142.
Naked white—
Hanging on bare nail
O’er the longing wall of me
Wailing moon yearns you

143.
Crystal illusion
Night casts its sheen shade,
Shimmering your whims

144.
What sigh—
From where do you
Come like a slighting light of
Sweltering night

145.
Evening---
Our samba chit-chat
Smearing of tropics stitching,
Dusk in warmly damp

146.
We were—
Silent little mutes
Tucked in beneath heavens night,
Chiding our tethers

147.
Beast---
You come at the birth
Of twilight, hungry for more
I lie spent in you

148.
star gazing ‘asturbatory--
sweet babe, broccoli
rabe, let this pithy shoot your
thick lipped o’ fifi

149.
You full moon—
Lost in her gaze you
Inspire indecency,
Making silly love

150.
Budding fem--
Held between snow flakes
Our blushing night strains to bloom
Your crimsoning petals

151.
So sheer---
Imagining your
Almond eyes spark translucence,
I sculpt you lovely

152.
Her pubis splays sheen:
Touch of the moon's fingering,
Woman, delight me

153.
Slow soak---
Stretched droplets break free
Puddle seeps the moon beneath,
Leaky faucet bleeds

154.
Grooving through your treads
Your moon holds the ring of your
Finger stirred whispers

155.
Limpid---
Round silver glowing
Night’s blush can’t hide us making
Love beneath full moon

156.
Fabulously lost—
Gods and nymphs weep when
I touch the flummox of their
Unfolding instinct

157.
Bed undone---
Telling the story
Sheets map out crumbled terrain
When I explored you

158.
Serenely laid—
The flecking bed spreads
Mottled softly and dappled
On my chest she dreams

159.
Secluded---
Turning off the lights
The moon peeks through sheer curtains,
Held in your loving

160.
Awash my sleep---
Slickly moonlight shaft
Limbs stretching rubber band like,
Your wrapping round me

161.
Under covers---
Smooth and silky warm
Autumn breaths breezy its wind
Spooning you at night

162.
My love---
And tender, each breath
Without respite flows sweetly
My soul, as you sleep

163.
In the dim---
Facing empty bed
Shadow forming curvature,
Still seeing you asleep

164.
On my own---
Sky fluttering stars
Conceives impossible taunts,
Blooms your thoughts in me

165.
Spent nights---
Endless litanies
Whisper from your lips pleading
Fanning my fire

166.
Dog-tired---
Time drags on tonight
Even the moon hangs lazy,
Nestling to lie down

167.
Before Sleep---
Lonely shepherd's flute
Carries his heart in a song,
Starling's flight by night

168.
Missing you---
Searching a lost wind
Flute song beckons from afar
My dreams conspire

169.
Dove at dawn---
Perches freezing shrub
Follows a highway flicker,
Splintering moonlight

170.
For me you’re—
Rivulets spread out
Melodies forming circles
In my heart, love songs

171.
Vintage wine---
Though many moons pass,
Love you so wisdom soothing
My sage's passion
